MANIPUR, India—A group of churches in southern India recently held a Vacation Bible School program using Regular Baptist Press curriculum material donated by Gospel Literature Services.

Mrs. Chingboi, Vacation Bible School director for the Churachandpur Center in Manipur, reports 591 children attended, led by a staff of 54 teachers and volunteers; 130 children made professions of faith in Christ, and many rededicated their lives to Christ.

“All our teachers and the students really love and enjoyed the materials,” Mrs. Chingboi says. “The craft works were excellent and enjoyable. It was really a great week of feasting upon God’s Word and fellowshipping of God’s great and big family. In fact, we had kids representing 20 denominations in town. Eighty percent of the children are from our churches and the others are from the other churches.”

Mrs. Chingboi notes that the curriculum material will now be used at schools and churches in the hill country.

“We are really thankful and indebted to GLS and the great team behind this great ministry,” Mrs.  Chingboi says. “We will continue to pray for this wonderful ministry that is impacting the lives of kids around the world. We expect more than 1,000 students next year as we are planning a joint VBS for our schools and churches.”
