On April 2 and 3, the messengers of the Illinois/Missouri Association of Regular Baptist Churches met for a semiannual session at Delhi Baptist Church, Jerseyville, Illinois. Dr. Paul Jackson, president of Evangelical Baptist Missions, was the keynote speaker. Dr. Jackson’s messages, “The Forgotten God of Missions,” focused on the nature and heart of God and how a correct theological foundation is at the heart of missions.
The meetings provided ample opportunity for ministerial fellowship and encouragement. Monday evening’s service included a prelude by the Delhi Baptist Brass and two special numbers from the Delhi Baptist choir. Attendance at Monday evening’s meeting topped the 200 mark. God was glorified through the preaching of His Word and the fellowship of His people.
