GLS Launches Greek Children’s Magazine

By April 18, 2008July 16th, 2014No Comments

SCHAUMBURG, Ill.—Children in Greece are like children everywhere: fun-loving, experimenting, learning from their parents and their peers, influenced by their culture, and spiritually lost.  It is unlawful in Greece to have a spiritual conversation with a child under the age of 18 without the express permission of their parents.  The 2006 Regular Baptist Press “Set Sail” VBS offering project, to create a Greek children’s magazine, is on schedule for its first edition to be distributed in December 2008.  Chris and Deb Hindal of Gospel Literature Services (GLS) just returned from a trip to meet with Greek partners in this project. The partners are passionate about the potential impact of this magazine.  Please pray that the publishing details all come together to create a tool that God will use to reach children and families in a country steeped in the empty traditions of the church.
