Faith Baptist Church, Mason City, Iowa, remembered the Lord on Good Friday with a service focused on the events surrounding Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Believers who came had the opportunity to write thank-you notes to Jesus and place them at the foot of the cross.
The Resurrection Day celebration began with a communion service featuring a devotional and special music. The service was followed by the annual Deacons’ Breakfast, with nearly 250 people in attendance. After breakfast, the worship service featured a dramatic musical presentation of Beneath the Cross and a strong gospel message. The celebration concluded with the choir singing the “Hallelujah” chorus.
