Oasis Baptist Church, Henderson, Nevada, held its annual marriage conference March 7–8 to strengthen, encourage, and invest in couples’ marriages.
“Our couples who joined us learned a lot from our guest speakers and took home some tools to help in their own relationships,” the church says. A “great marriage requires investment,” the church adds, and “a healthy marriage” is “foundational to a healthy home.”
Along with hearing from the speakers, the couples enjoyed a time of worship and plenty of laughter through games.
The conference was part of the church’s ministry called Walk as One. That ministry was “born out of a desire to see marriages strengthened and for the home to be what God intended it to be in the community,” the church says. “God’s plan is for a marriage to be strong in the Word and to be engaged in the local church.”
