Taking their conference theme from the definition of the word gather, the women of Memorial Baptist Church, Verona, Wisconsin, hosted Gather 2024: Opening the Gift of Repentance.
Gather means “draw near together” and “come together around a central point,” says conference organizer Cindie Winquist. So, sharing a “central point” from God’s Word, speaker Holly Nilles encouraged the women to unwrap the gift of true repentance. Breakout sessions allowed the women to “draw near together” in fellowship through activities including watercolor painting, card making, board games, and walking along a beautiful state trail.
The conference was “a heart-challenging time in God’s Word,” Cindie says. “The women who attended Gather 2024 all agree that Gather 2025 is a must!”
