The Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches’ Revive men’s retreat was full of activities, Bible teaching, and fellowship. Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Ventura hosted the retreat August 25–26.
The goal was “for men to come together as churches to be challenged from God’s Word and enjoy fellowship on the beautiful North Shore of Clear Lake,” the IARBC says.
Addressing the theme “Body Life: Meaningful Membership in the Body of Christ,” main sessions and workshops encouraged the men to be disciple makers in their churches.
Discipleship in churches means investing in one another, and that’s “important for Body life,” says Greg Gosnell, pastor of Horton Baptist Church, Waverly, Iowa.
Along with hearing from speakers, the men also enjoyed activities including disc golf, trap shooting, and a golf tournament.
