A quilting group from Calvary Baptist Church, Midland, Michigan, spent this year creating quilts for children and a pastor and wife in Peru. Now the group, called Hands to the Spindle, is seeing the fruit of its labor.
The first week of August, two people serving in Peru—a former member of the church and a missionary the church supports—distributed the 17 quilts at a refuge center where a pastor and his wife are taking care of abandoned children.
“We are so grateful for all the hard work this ministry put in to be a blessing in this way!” Calvary Baptist says.
