Discipleship training and a bluegrass gospel concert were highlights of a conference for northern churches of the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
Brookdale Baptist Church, Moorhead, Minnesota, hosted the two-day event.
In five sessions, attendees learned how to develop and support a disciple-making culture in their churches. Topics included the role of younger and newer church members, the role of older and long-time church members, and implementing purposeful groups.
A bluegrass gospel concert by The Benson Family Singers ended the conference. The family of seven, from Faribault, Minnesota, sings a cappella and with a variety of instruments in events across the country. The Bensons say they “use their music, humor, and message to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
