Grace Baptist Fellowship, Sartell, Minnesota, hosted the annual meetings of the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches Sept. 18–20.
Church members and leaders explored the topic “Healthy Church” with speakers Dean Taylor and Terry Thompson. Dean is chair of the Pastoral Studies department and Christian Ministries division at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary. Terry is founder of Small Church USA, which helps revitalize churches across the country.
During the business session, voting church members elected the MARBC Council of Seven: William Lobb (pastor, Woodland Baptist Church, Fergus Falls); Jake Heppner (pastor, Southbrook Baptist Church, Wadena); Thomas Overmiller (pastor, Brookdale Baptist Church, Moorhead); Nathan Hitz (pastor, Blaine Baptist Church, Blaine); Ben Simons (pastor, First Baptist Church, Brownsdale); Jon Eads (associate pastor, Calvary Baptist Church, Rochester); and Brian Wiita (pastor, Faith Baptist Church, Hermantown).
The MARBC thanks Grace Baptist Fellowship “for their wonderful hospitality during the event.”
James Goodew, pastor of Grace Baptist, says serving the Lord by hosting the conference was a privilege. “It’s great to do His work,” James says.
