Calvary Baptist Church, Bellefontaine, Ohio, hosted its 25th Annual Men of God Conference March 4.
Nate Danser, vice president of Pure Life Ministries Outreach, spoke on “A Call to Purity,” teaching the men to be “pure in heart, pure in purpose, and pure in passion.” He has served in the media department at Calvary Baptist since 2009.
Breakout sessions gave the men “fresh, practical ideas on how to live a life of purity as a man of God.”
Sessions covered “Passionately Pursuing My Wife,” making their wives the object of their affection; “Building a Disciplined Life on the Word,” developing a consistent pattern of time in God’s Word to avoid the pitfalls of life; “Not Going Life Alone,” having another person in their lives who will keep them spiritually sharp, knowing that iron sharpens iron; and “Setting up Your Son for Spiritual Success,” building an intentional strategy for discipling their sons and other children, knowing they are watching and imitating.
One of the churches attending was Calvary Baptist, Byesville, Ohio. The church takes a group of men to the conference every year. “Thank you, Calvary Baptist in Bellefontaine, for always hosting us,” the church says.
