Portville (New York) Baptist Church called Mark Beckwith as pastor.
“Prior to pursuing vocational ministry, Mark worked in public education for nearly 10 years, first as a mathematics teacher and then as a professional development provider,” the church says.
During that time “the Lord grew Mark’s love for teaching, nurtured his love for counseling both students and adults, and placed a desire in his heart to pursue pastoral ministry.”
Mark is serving as a bivocational pastor, working in the education field, while also pursuing an MDiv from Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
