The youth group of Gospel Hope Church, Riverton, Utah, showed “the love of Christ in action” by serving at a food pantry. “From stocking shelves to packing crates,” the students “worked hard” to serve their community, the church says.
A few months earlier the youth group of Ankeny (Iowa) Baptist Church partnered with these students to distribute food at the same location.
“What a joy to see our GHC youth group serve in love and humility,” the church says, while encouraging the congregation to “find ways to serve wherever we can.”
“May we continue to follow the example of Jesus as we serve one another and our community with grace and compassion.”
