Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Smithville, Ohio, hosted a Ladies’ Day Out, featuring Bible study, fellowship, and worship.
Joining the women for the event were women from nearby Regular Baptist churches: Hope Baptist Church in Akron, Grace Baptist Church in Canton, First Baptist Church in Louisville, and Millersburg Baptist Church in Millersburg.
Each participant chose three out of twelve workshops to attend—including gardening, making pizza dough, and sewing tote bags—and they gathered for worship and a devotional on glorifying God in all circumstances. Lunch together closed out the day.
This event “is an example of the OARBC’s core value of ‘Relationships: We are committed to living intentionally in relationship with Jesus and one another,'” says the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches. This core value “is lived out most vibrantly through our local, regional fellowships.”
