First Baptist Church, Galeton, Pennsylvania, ordained Justin Shaffer (left in photo above). He has been assistant pastor for five years, working with Pastor Richard Tintle.
The ordination council took place June 8 with a dozen sister churches represented. At the end of the exam, the council unanimously recommended that the church proceed with Justin’s ordination. The ordination service took place July 21.
Justin graduated from Davis College in 2019. Prior to his Bible college training, he was a forester for the state of Pennsylvania for 17 years.
