Crossroads Fellowship met for its state conference Sept. 11–13 at Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center. Scott Poling, pastor of Harvest New Beginnings, spoke on the subject of joy.
“Happiness is fickle and depends on what happens,” Scott says. “But joy is deep and lasting, full of faith and trust, excited to see how an all-powerful, loving, sovereign God will use this difficulty in my life for the greatest good in my life.”
We can learn to embrace trials and “rest in God’s complete control, faithful Word, proven character, and eternal love,” Scott says. “God has this. God has you. Rejoice.”
Crossroads Fellowship says the conference was indeed a joy and says that God is at work among its churches.
