First Baptist Church, Niles, Ohio, called Jonathan Schuler as pastor.
The church hosted a reception for him; his wife, Julie; and their children March 2.
“What a sweet celebration,” says Chuck Pausley, state representative for the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches. “It was great to meet them!”
Also attending the event were Ben Reed and Jim Read. They have served as interim pastors at the church for the past four years after serving there together as, respectively, pastor and associate pastor in the 1970s.
