“One of our favorite aspects of the IARBC Conference is the fellowship,” the IARBC says.
The Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches met for its annual conference at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp.
The “preaching and teaching [were] fantastic, the singing inspiring, and the fellowship sweet,” the IARBC says.
Matt Morrell, pastor of Fourth Baptist Church, Plymouth, Minnesota, spoke in four main sessions on “Gospel-Minded Ministry,” leading guests through the book of Philippians.
Workshops addressed topics including “A Practical Theology of Corporate Prayer,” “What Missionary Women Wish They Could Tell Their Supporters,” “The Importance of Truth-Filled Thinking,” “Understanding and Evaluating Progressive Covenantalism,” and “What Is the Purpose of the Church?”
A business meeting was also part of the agenda on the first day of the conference. In addition to addressing IARBC business matters, Tim Capon, state representative of the IARBC, prayed for the association’s council (in photo above) and for new pastors in the association.
While parents attended the meeting, main sessions, and workshops, the camp teamed up with Faith Baptist Bible College to offer childcare and programming for children and teens. The conference truly offered something for entire families.
The IARBC says, “We value our partnership with Iowa Regular Baptist Camp and appreciate their gracious hospitality.”
