Hayman_inlineALLEGANY, N.Y.—Allegany Baptist Church honored Frank Hayman upon his retirement from the pastorate. The church held a dinner for him and his wife, Karen, on Saturday, Aug. 30. His last Sunday speaking was Sept. 14. He now holds the title of pastor emeritus.

Hayman, a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary and San Francisco Baptist Theological Seminary, pastored Allegany Baptist Church for 26 years and was in full-time ministry for 46 years. He was pastor of five Baptist churches in Indiana, California, Pennsylvania, and New York. He is known for his practical exposition of Scriptures; his helpfulness to many people; the annual sportsman’s dinners at Allegany Baptist, which have been a delight to those who love the great outdoors; and his ministry to those inside and outside his flock in their time of illness or need.

Frank and Karen Hayman have retired to Cambridge, Maine, where they can be close to their daughter, Kristen, and her family. The Haymans also have two sons, Nathan and Mark.

The Haymans are greatly missed by the congregation of Allegany Baptist Church and the many people they have served over the years.
