Emmanuel Baptist Church, Toledo, Ohio, held a free family carnival June 17. Sonshine Carnival is Emmanuel’s “largest missional outreach to the Toledo community,” says Dan Neighbors, pastor of students, families, and communications.
The church paired the carnival with Vacation Bible School, with the carnival being held the day before VBS. Both events “impact hundreds of kids with the gospel” each year, Dan says.
Emmanuel’s staff thanks Tyler Miller and Amanda McKevitt for taking photos at the carnival and thanks members of the church who volunteered their time to make the event a success.
