Grace Baptist Church, Washington, Utah, called David Preston as pastor.
David, a church-planting missionary, planted a church in Mount Pleasant, Utah, in 2000 and remained its pastor until the fall of 2024. He says that turning over the leadership of that church to another pastor “has been a big adjustment” for him and his wife, Millie. “But we rejoice in seeing the church go forward,” he says.
On March 2 Grace Baptist Church announced that David had accepted its call to become pastor.
Grace Baptist Church “has a small faithful core,” David says. “Although this isn’t a new church plant, it is going to take church planting work.” Serving as pastor there is a “great opportunity to preserve a long-established light in Utah.”
