David and Brandi Prairie and their family of Evangel Baptist, Hagerstown, Md.
Evangel Baptist Church, Hagerstown, Maryland, called David Prairie as pastor. Although he began serving the church in mid-December, the congregation formally welcomed him during an installation service on Sunday, January 21.
David and his family moved from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they lived for many years and where David ministered in church, school, and missions roles. He received a BA from Tennessee Temple University and three masters degrees from Temple Baptist Seminary before completing his DMin studies.
During the service, Steve Winget, a missionary with ABWE (in the photo above), shared a challenge with David and the congregation, while the congregation welcomed the Prairie family to ministry in Hagerstown.
