Breesport (New York) Baptist Church hosted a five-night conference called Behold, highlighting God’s glory.
“God is deeper in His being than we know, higher than we can imagine, more powerful than we can fathom, and more beautiful than we can comprehend,” says Doug Forman, pastor of Breesport Baptist.
The speakers included Brian King, executive director of the Northeast Fellowship; L. D. Maxson, pastor of Central Baptist Church, Binghamton, New York; and Elijah Beltz, pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Ithaca, New York.
Each speaker helped attendees focus their hearts and minds on God’s holiness, sovereignty, Fatherhood, omniscience, and goodness.
The Sunday after the conference, Doug added two more attributes “to that spectacular and yet incomplete list”: God’s steadfast love and faithfulness. “He will always be all of these things for all those who know Him through faith in Jesus Christ,” Doug says.
