ANKENY, Iowa—Jim Vogel, associate national representative of the GARBC, met with a group of 125 pastors at the recent 2008 GARBC Conference to outline the association’s increased efforts in supporting and encouraging pastors.
“We want to demonstrate that we care for pastors,” said Vogel, who gave each guest a packet of RBP curriculum material, the book A Bible Handbook to Revelation, as well as two DVDs: Pastors, Churches, and Political Activity, and Your Vote Counts.
Vogel described a developing program to consult with churches and pastors, assist with pastoral placement, and arrange for yearly events.
