Men's Retreat at Victory Ranch, Moreno Valley, Calif.

MORENO VALLEY, Calif.—God blessed with beautiful weather as Victory Ranch hosted the spring Men’s Retreat for the Southern California Association of Regular Baptist Churches.  The lush, green hills created a stunning background for the five-stand sporting clay competition and other events that 120 men from 14 churches took part in.

Jerry Wilke, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Hemet, Calif., brought a series of encouraging messages on the theme “Getting It Together When Everything Is Falling to Pieces.” Dr. Paul Plew and the Santa Clarita Baptist Church Men’s Quartet led in worship.

The Men’s Retreat is a time of fellowship, rejuvenation, and focusing on God’s Word. Men enjoyed a dedicated prayer time, a steak dinner, and numerous activities and competitions, including volleyball tournaments, shooting competitions, Ping-Pong, archery, horseshoes, hiking, and horseback riding.

The next Men’s Retreat hosted by Victory Ranch will be held Oct. 21 and 22, 2011.
