Assessment Day at Faith Baptist Bible College

ANKENY, Iowa—Every spring Faith Baptist Bible College schedules an assessment day to help determine how well it is doing in its mission to train people for life and ministry. During the assessment day, students take a variety of tests relating to their spiritual life and their academic and vocational pursuits.

This spring Faith used RBP’s BuildUP Spiritual Maturity Assessment to help determine the students’ level of spiritual maturity. This assessment tool examines the seven areas of spiritual growth summarized in RBP’s booklet Blueprint for Spiritual Maturity. Through a series of insightful statements, the students were able to determine where they are in their spiritual growth in the seven areas.  All students took the assessment, and the results will be tabulated by classes. This tool enables the college to track the spiritual development of the students as a class as they move through their years of education.

“Faith was grateful for the help of Regular Baptist Press in assessing the spiritual development of its students,” says Don Anderson, director of communication for Faith Baptist Bible College.
