Advice on Pastoral Sabbaticals

By January 26, 2009June 17th, 2014No Comments

WESTLAKE, Ohio—Sometimes church leadership teams benefit from an outside opinion! That’s what Jim Vogel, associate national representative for the GARBC, provided in a recent meeting with Pastor Greg Whiting, his associate pastors, and deacons.

Grace Baptist Church in Westlake, Ohio, is considering a pastoral sabbatical policy. Jim was able to answer questions, share specific examples, and generally encourage a process that benefits both pastor and church.

Jim regularly helps churches and pastors in our Fellowship with such consultation on a variety of ministry subjects and planning endeavors. Contact him at jvogel@garbc.org.
