On May 3, Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa, held an installation service for its ninth president, Dr. James Maxwell III. Delegates from Bob Jones University, Northwest Baptist Seminary, Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, Maranatha Baptist Bible College, and Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary all attended the service to welcome Dr. Maxwell to Faith. Dr. John Greening, GARBC national representative, addressed Dr. Maxwell at the service, citing characteristics of a godly leader.
“Dr. Maxwell’s humble testimony that night and his challenge to the graduating class of 2007 the following day at Commencement truly blessed our hearts,” Faith said.
Later in the service, Dr. Maxwell shared, “I have sat on ordination councils for over forty years, and I have never seen a school so consistently prepare people for ministry as Faith. I am excited to get to know this ministry as a servant of FBBC&TS.”
“Please continue to pray with us,” Faith shared, “for God’s guidance and blessing during this time of transition.”
