The Northeast Fellowship hosted three simultaneous Recharge student conferences March 21–22 at First Baptist Church, Horseheads, New York; First Baptist Church, Marilla, New York; and Open Door Baptist Church, New Woodstock, New York.
The one-word theme “Now” highlighted Ecclesiastes 12:1: “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth.” Three keynote messages featured Scriptural heroes during their adolescent years: Jesus (Luke 2:40–52), David (1 Samuel 17), and Daniel (Daniel 1).
A main speaker at each location encouraged the students to trust Christ as their Savior and equipped believers to be committed Christ followers. God prepares and matures believers over time, the speakers said, but He wants students to love, serve, worship, fellowship, give, and witness now.
A fourth event, Camp Recharge, will take place May 2–3 at Camp BaYouCa.
