GREENVILLE, S.C.—Bob Jones University invited Mike Hess, GARBC national representative, to speak in its chapel April 2. Speaking from 2 Corinthians 1:8–10 on God’s purpose in times of despair, Hess told the students that God often goes to great lengths to force people to trust in Him alone. In addition to speaking in chapel, Hess met with Steve Pettit, president of Bob Jones University, to discuss how the GARBC and BJU can work together to serve churches.

Hess says that he and his wife, Christina, “are always encouraged by the sweet fellowship and warm hospitality from the people at BJU.”
