“I think I can; I think I can. . . .” Do you remember that motto from the childhood story The Little Engine That Could? January is a month of building ministry momentum. Fortunately for us in the Lord’s service, we do not need to manufacture our own energy to pull our ministry train over the mountain. The apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 2:13, “It is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” As we undertake our ministries, we can replace the words “I think I can” with “I know God can!”
