URBANDALE, Iowa—During the Christmas season, Urbandale Baptist Church helped folks get into the Christmas spirit by caroling in its community.
On a Wednesday evening, the Axis Student Ministry teen group took to the streets and caroled at a number of homes, then joined the rest of the church on Sunday evening in singing to another group of homes as well as a nursing home.
In all, about 50 adults, teenagers, and children from the church helped make Christmas a little more bright and reminded people that Jesus is the reason for the season.
After caroling on Sunday evening, the church enjoyed a cookie exchange and made trays of cookies for the local fire department, police department, and elementary school.
