SAUK CENTRE, Minn.—Faith Baptist Church has welcomed a new pastor. Joe DiVietro began ministering at the church Dec. 7. He follows in the footsteps of Ron Hemsworth, pastor of Faith Baptist for over 20 years who recently moved on to the mission field. (Read “Ron Hemsworth Called to Serve at Missionary Acres.”)
DiVietro comes to Faith Baptist from First Baptist Church, Wilson, Kan., where he was pastor for six years. Previously he was associate and youth pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Lee’s Summit, Mo., for six years.
He and his wife, Kristi, have two children, Kennedy (5) and Jaclyn (19 months). They are excited to see what God has for them in 2015 and beyond. “God has great things in store,” says Faith Baptist Church, and says the church is “ready to go and grow.”
