David Strope, interim national representative of the GARBC, spoke at Corban University January 26.
John Mark Yeats, president of Corban, welcomed David to the chapel service, and David preached to the assembled faculty, staff, and students on “Satan’s Con Job or God’s Truth,” from Romans 12.
In visiting Corban, David says he “returned to the scene of the crime,” as Corban University was the host location of the 2023 Regular Baptist Ministries Conference.

David also spoke at Faith Baptist Church, Salem, Oregon, on January 28 and First Baptist Church, Waverly, Iowa, on January 21. At both churches he preached and shared a Regular Baptist Ministries report with the congregations.
Craig Slaughter has been pastor of Faith Baptist Church since June 2009. He was previously a pastor in Norwalk, Iowa, then returned to his home church in Salem.
At First Baptist Church, Dan Eloe has been pastor since September 2014. “First Baptist Church dates all the way back to 1855 and has seen the faithful hand of God upon it all these many years,” the church says.
