PORTSMITH, Va.—William “Bill” Hayes Jr., a member of the team who developed Baptist Fellowship Press, the Sunday School curriculum ministry of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association, died Feb. 3. He was 62.

Bill was a member of Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Virginia. There he served in many capacities, including as chairman of the deacon board, member of the men’s ministry, Sunday School teacher, and business administrator. In addition, he spoke at the FBFA Annual Conference and the Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Conference, served on the FBFA steering council, and was an instructor at Angelos Bible College, Portsmouth, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, on July 27, 2017.
