Shirley Brown, a pastor’s wife, died February 24. She was 89.
Shirley served alongside her husband, Dr. L. Duane Brown, in their 70 years of married life in ministry. She served alongside Duane as he was pastor of five churches (in New York, Iowa, Texas, and New Jersey), state representative of three Regular Baptist associations (New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia), and president of Denver Baptist Bible College and Seminary.
Shirley will be remembered for her constant love and support of her husband, her quiet and gentle spirit, her unending care and love for her five children, and her faithfulness to Christ as her Lord and Savior.
