Pamela Sue Kliewer, a pastor’s wife, died January 22. She was 70.
Pam earned a BA in piano performance from Bob Jones University. After graduation, she remained on campus, where she was employed at Unusual Films as a secretary. During that time she met Scott Kliewer. They were married on August 5, 1978.
Pam served alongside Scott at Calvary Baptist Church, Charleston, Illinois, for two years and then at Meridian Baptist Church, Newton, Kansas, for the next 40 years until the time of her death. At Meridian Baptist Church, Scott was minister of youth and music beginning in 1983 and has been pastor of the church since 2008.
Pam’s faithfulness in ministry was the result of her faith in Jesus Christ for salvation as a young girl and her dedication to God’s Word and God’s calling upon her life.
She is survived by her husband, Scott; three sons, Jeff, Brad, and Ryan; and nine grandchildren.
