DE SOTO, Iowa—Lonnie Koons, a pastor, died Feb. 3. He was 67.
Lonnie was pastor of De Soto Calvary Baptist Church since 1987. A bivocational pastor, Lonnie also worked full-time at MidAmerican Energy for 33 years before retiring from that role in August 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanne; two sons, Justin and Brian; and seven grandchildren.
