Lester Burkey, a pastor, died December 20, 2022. He was 87.
Lester attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated from Bob Jones University.
He was a pastor in Hendersonville, North Carolina; Bear Creek, North Carolina; Hebron, Indiana; and Whiting, Indiana. He retired from the pastorate in 2002.
Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, in 2019.
He is survived by three children, Rena Hedrick, Jeff, and Pam Smith; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
