John Dawson, a pastor, died December 8. He was 78.
John was pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Woodburn, Bunker Hill, Illinois. He was also a chaplain for volunteer fire departments and a volunteer at the Community Hope Center, Cottage Hills, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; a son, Victor; a grandson; and a granddaughter.
