SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—J. Kevin Boggs, a pastor and evangelist, died Oct. 28. He was 69.
Kevin was the founding pastor of Colonial Baptist Church, New Carlisle, Ohio. After serving at Colonial Baptist for 20 years he became a full-time evangelist. Later he was pastor of administration and counseling at Calvary Baptist Church, Bellefontaine, Ohio, and vice president of administration and development for Strong Tower Christian Media.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa; two children, Sarah Amos and Adam; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Colonial Baptist Church on Dec. 4, led by Ken Floyd, Kevin’s brother-in-law and executive director of the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
