SALEM, Ore.—Anne Jeffers, who “shaped and guided generations of Corban students,” says Dr. Sheldon C. Nord, president of Corban University, died Dec. 6. She was 91.
Anne was associate dean of students, director of career services and field education, and assistant professor of women’s ministries at Corban University. She retired in December 2013 at age 85 after more than 40 years of service there. In addition to her role at Corban, she was a popular speaker for workshops, retreats, and conferences throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada. She attended Bethany Baptist Church, Salem, Oregon, for 50 years.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Adrian; their children, Beth, Dawn Villaescusa, Tim, and Joel; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild.
