Wisconsin Ladies’ Retreat

“Friendships,” the theme presented by speaker Jeannie Vogel, was warmly received by Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Churches Ladies’ Retreat participants at Camp Fairwood in Westfield, Wisconsin. Three sessions of Biblical instruction on the topics of Friendship with God, Friendship with Others, and Building God-Honoring Relationships challenged the women to center their friendships on God and to honor Him as they interact with one another. During the October 5 and 6 weekend, the ladies enjoyed visiting; playing “Great Golf,” volleyball, and table games; and participating in canoeing, hiking, and riflery. Not to be outdone by the men at the September WARBC Men’s Retreat, the women on Friday night enjoyed a Prime Rib banquet and dessert bar, wagon rides, a night hike, and a bonfire.
