First Baptist Church, Colville, Washington, has called Kraig Keck as pastor.
He and his wife, Laura (in photo above), were previously faculty members of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary since 2020. Kraig was a professor of Biblical counseling, and Laura was the assistant dean of women.
Now, in what has become a swap of roles, the church’s previous pastor, Dennis Wilkening, and his wife, Lori, are filling those same positions at Faith. They began their roles July 1.
Dennis had been pastor of First Baptist for 11 years.
“The Wilkenings are excited to begin a new chapter in life and ministry together,” Faith says. “Their passion for evangelism and discipleship, along with their experience in counseling and youth ministry, will suit them well for their new role.”
Meanwhile, First Baptist is “so excited to see what God keeps doing here at FBC!” the church says. The church staff, including Assistant Pastor David Crist, “are thrilled with this new addition” to its staff.
