LETTER FROM THE INTERIM NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE
Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord Jesus!
Psalm 79:8 declares, “Oh, do not remember former iniquities against us! Let Your tender mercies come speedily to meet us, for we have been brought very low.”
In advance of our need, God gives grace and mercy. This He has done in His Word, in the incarnate Word, and in the ministry of the Holy Spirit—all by His kindness.
As I have traversed our fellowship, I’ve been grateful for the faithful ministry of so many: pastors preaching God’s Word and making disciples, pastors’ wives serving by their giftedness and encouraging their husbands, church members sharing Christ winsomely and passionately, churches moving forward in disciple-making ministries despite cultural opposition.
Be faithful in ministry! Trust God to bless every ministry of His Word. Let the grace of God yet teach us, even as we look “for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works” (Titus 2:13–14).
In His Grace,
David E. Strope, D.D.
Interim National Representative
P.S. For several years the GARBC has done business under the name Regular Baptist Ministries. At the November 2022 Council of 18 meeting, Regular Baptist Ministries was adopted as our “doing business as” name. You’ll see “Regular Baptist Ministries” and “GARBC” side by side on Facebook, Twitter, and other communication outlets along with our new logo. Eight O’Clock coffee had the ad slogan “New Look, Same Great Taste.” So it is with RBM/GARBC!
