CAMBRIA, Calif.— “What a great weekend we had celebrating God’s faithful blessings over the past 50 years here at First Baptist Church!” says Pastor Chris Law. Many people who have called First Baptist Church home throughout the years came back to celebrate the church’s milestone.
Guests watched videos recalling the church’s history and dedicated its new library in honor of Pastor David Hollingsworth, who retired from the pastorate after serving from 1977 to 2007. Chris Law has served since 2008.
“It was great to meet many people who have called FBC their home,” Pastor Law says. “Weekends like what we just had are important because they remind us that God continues to work in and through the ministry here at FBC. We desire to be faithful to continue the work that God began in a small group of faithful followers 50 years ago.”
