The Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Churches met for its fall conference, “Growing Together,” at Brookridge Church, Plover, Wisconsin, October 17–18.
Keynote speaker Chris Pyatt, pastor of First Baptist Church, Hartland, Wisconsin, “shared a convicting message on ‘Jonah: Musings of a Misguided Missionary,’ including his own personal lessons learned during his study,” says Norman Walker, state representative for the WARBC.
Ten workshops offered a wide selection of practical guidance for church members and staff. Topics such as marriage, parenting, evangelism, AI as it relates to youth, and training deacons and youth workers “provided opportunities to gain new insights into how to live out our Christian faith and be on the mission of Jesus Christ,” Norman says.
The WARBC says the conference was “a wonderful opportunity to grow in Christ, connect with other believers, and be encouraged in ministry.”
