The Baptist Network Northwest hosted its annual Refresh Retreat for pastors and their wives in Cannon Beach, Oregon, September 8–11.
The Refresh Retreat gives couples the opportunity to rest and revive from the challenges of everyday ministry and renew friendships made over years of serving together in the Northwest.
Couples heard from Clare Jewell, national representative of the GARBC. He reminded the couples of the change they can make in their families, churches, and communities when these couples value others the way God does.
In addition to hosting its Refresh Retreat each fall, the Baptist Network Northwest—consisting of churches in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho—also holds a prayer summit every winter and a conference every spring. Each event keeps pastors and churches connected throughout the year.
