Nebraska Conference Encourages Evangelism

First Baptist Church, Gretna, Nebraska, hosted the spring conference of the Nebraska Association of Regular Baptist Churches April 5–6.

Clare Jewell, director of Generate, spoke on the theme “To the Next Generation,” focusing on making disciples.

“Jesus called us to do more than sit in church. He called us to go and make disciples,” says Shawn Rittmiller, secretary of the NARBC and pastor of Park Lane Baptist Church in Omaha.

As we make disciples, “we move from consuming the programs of the church to engaging in the mission of the church,” Shawn says. “This shift fuels evangelism and growth in our churches, in our own lives, and in the lives of the next generation. Clare Jewell is passionate about seeing more and more churches commit to the multiplication of disciples, leaders, and churches.”

Being just a few hours away from the conference location, David Strope, interim national representative of the GARBC, attended to represent Regular Baptist Ministries and to connect with pastors, their families, and congregations.
