Five Mile Baptist Church, Allegany, New York, called Mark Yuhnke as pastor.
Mark was previously a police officer in western New York for nine years. Desiring to serve in ministry, he became the family life director of a church in New Jersey and graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2023 with a degree in Biblical studies before being called to Five Mile Baptist Church as pastor.
His previous church says “he has a heart for people, whether it is sharing the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ or helping them grow spiritually in their walk with the Lord.”
He will begin his ministry at Five Mile Baptist Church in November. The church says, “Our prayers are with the family as they transition to Allegany later this month.”
